Utah Vacation Day 2

Day 2 was an eventful shopping day. We started out with some time at Rod Works and I found some great stuff that I shipped home. Yeah! Then we went out to Tai Pan. Oh my gosh! Can we please get one of these in Texas soon?!??!??! For those of you who don't know what Tai Pan is...it's an awesome home decor store that has just about everything at a great price. It was all set up for Christmas already and with the cold weather out in Utah, it truly felt like Christmas! After Tai Pan we headed out to Cafe Rio. Can we say pork salad??!! Yum! I love Cafe Rio. Well, if the day couldn't get any better...it did. We went to the mall and my child fell asleep in the stroller, yes the stroller.

Since when does that happen? The last time he ever fell asleep in his stroller was after a long morning at Disneyworld and it only lasted 10 minutes. Go figure. So I got to cruise the mall and check out anything I wanted while he slept peacefully in the stroller. Once we got home, the kids filed in from school and played with Ethan.
At night I would go to bed with Ethan at like 8:30 every night. My plan was to lay down by him long enough that he would be asleep and then I would go out and socialize, not the case. I was so tired that everytime I would be fall asleep before Ethan was sound enough for me to leave. Plus he would wake up every morning at 5:30 so I guess it was good that I went to bed that early.
