Chicken with Bacon, Roseomary, and Lemon

Here is the recipe to drool over!

Ingredients:

5 slices of bacon chopped
4 Chicken breasts
1/4 cup flour
1 TBL butter
salt and pepper
4 cloves of garlic thinnly sliced
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
1 TBL fresh rosemary chopped (for my Texas girls if you need any, come get some from my garden)
2 TBL fresh lemon juice
1 cup low sodium chicken broth

Okay, simply ingredients not simply directions.
-Place the bacon in a skillet and cook over medium heat until crispy. Place bacon on a paper towel lined pan. Pour off excess fat, but reserve 2 TBL of bacon fat in the pan.
-Pat the chicken dry with paper towels, salt and pepper both sides. Dredge chicken in the flour and shake off the excess.
-Add the butter to the pan with the bacon fat, when the fomaing subsides place chicken in the pan. The chicken will cook 3-4 minutes per side. When the chicken is done place it on a plate covered with foil.
-Add the garlic, rosemary, and red pepper flakes to the pan and cook for about 2 minutes or until the garlic is brown and a little crispy.
-Add the lemon juice and chicken broth to the pan and boil for about 4 minutes, until it's glossy.
-Return the chicken and bacon to pan and cook for another 2 minutes

This chicken is so flavorful and so yummy. I got this recipe from the America's Test Kitchen, best of 2007 cookbook so g out and get it if you enjoy this recipe. I swear every recipe in there is delicious.

Yum, yum maybe we will have this tonight!
I'm going to be cleaning today too, but let me know if you need a break from making copies, or if you need to send over "dee-dee" so you can get them done. :)

Mmmm, yummy! I made this for dinner tonight, and it was SO GOOD! (I left out the red pepper flakes, though--I wonder how much that changed the flavor?) Thanks for a great recipe!
