Can you just see all the excitement in his face? I LOVE it! We even had a white Christmas all the way down here in Texas this year! How great is that?! I felt like I was back in Ohio for a moment...sigh...
Not only did Santa come for the kids, but he came for me too. Both sets of parents went in on a Bosch for me this year! WAHOOOO!!!! I'm venturing into the art of bread making and it is very, very fun! My first bread that I tried in the Bosch was focaccia and here's the finished product...
Oh I wish you were there to taste it! I was so proud. Right now I'm working on Honey Wheat and 7 Grain Bread and I'm thinking about doing really digging in and going for some food storage so we'll see where it takes me. Christmas was great this year, full of family and fun!

Yum. That bread looks so good. And it's not just because I'm not eating white bread this month.
I have yet to get into the "artisan" bread scene. Maybe I should try a foccacia...
I am liking making bread, but it does take a fair amount of time, great with a baby since I'm home so much.
Also, it's hard to find the stuff for food storage here, we have to stock up when we're in UT, and of course from teh cannery from church.
