Ethan's Gift

This is the cross stitch that I worked on while I was pregnant with Ethan. I took it to work with me every night so I could do some of it on my breaks or when things were slow (which was rare), it went with me to every Dr's appointment and I would do it whenever Ryan was watching a game and I was bored. I got most of it done before Ethan was born except for the lettering which my mom did for me when I brought him home from the hospital. I finally got it stretched and framed and wrapped it up for his birthday. So here's the final product in all it's glory. I'll hang it in his room as long as Ethan will let me and once he's "too old or too cool" for it, I'll hang it in his closet or somewhere that he can see it and know that I love him. Hehe!

I think it's adorable. My mom has given both of my kids one on their first birthday. I think one day they'll look at it and know how greatly they are loved. Each stitch, a show of love. That's the beauty of the handicraft. ;)
