I Know An Olympian!
I just have to say how cool all this Olympic stuff is and I'm loving the nightly cheering sessions for Michael Phelps. So much fun! But I do have to say that I'm also totally enthralled that my high school friend, Anna made it to the Olympics for sailing! How exciting! Her event is the Women's Laser Radical and she's doing really well so far so I'm checking my computer often to see how she's doing. Anyway...go check her out and cheer her on! Go Anna!

Wow congrats to Anna - I saw the results for the Laser Radial and she did awesome! I knew an Olympian once, too, he didn't make it to Beijing, and at Athens he tripped in the trials for his track event, so he's never competed yet but he does hold the American Record in the mile currently. I'm always proud to say that I went to middle school with Alan Webb, although I am sure he has no idea who I am. :)
