That is what E calls monsters these days. It seems like monsters are everywhere these days in his little world. They are in his closet, in the dark bathroom, under his bed, outside, everywhere. He constantly wants me to go everywhere to check out the monsters and get rid of them before he can play. We even got him an inflatable sword at Peter Piper one afternoon so he could ward off his little monsters. Here is a picture of E cowering in the corner with all his blankets and his inflatable sword.

oh, that's so sad...
poor little guy.
Hello!
I came across your blog about a week ago from Fina Drea's blog. Your little boy is so adorable!
About the monsters . . . using the sword is a great idea! They also sell a monster spray @ http://www.monsterspray.us/
It's a cute idea, but you could probably make it yourself;)
I always tell my kids that if they are complaining about imaginary monsters I'll give them something to be REALLY afraid of -- ME. :)
poor little guy... he is so cute though
that is too funny
Aww, it's so sad when kids are scared of stuff like that because it's so real to them! And no matter how much you try to explain that it's pretend, it's just such a hard concept to grasp. I love the sword idea!
ooooh little man =(
your idea may just work..good one!!
