Who Would Have Thought?

I just received a wonderful little parcel in the mail from a giveaway that I won a little while ago. I won a Pocket Snails Potty Training DVD from A Mom's Review. I stuck it into the DVD player the other day to see if E would watch it and went about the kitchen making a little dinner. I look up over the sink to see Ethan totally enthralled at the TV! He seriously didn't move for at least 20 minutes, and you all know how big that is! Sometimes I almost have to beg him to sit and watch a little TV so I can have a moment to get stuff done. For whatever reason, the singing snails and dancing potty chairs just sparked his interest. He's been doing a little bit of potty training here and there, but we're not really going all the way with it right now. I don't quite think he's ready yet, but he's doing really good. We'll see if the DVD helps in other arenas besides entertainment.

Wow, Brittany, your blog is awesome! =)

It's kind of funny, but even though there have been a number of new faces and even a couple of position changes, nothing much has really changed at ECH. It sort of makes you laugh (at least it does me), because many of my friends who have become stay-at-home moms talk about how nothing ever changes. But reading your blog, it sounds like your life is very dynamic and lots of fun. So... contrast that with ECH which is still the same, and it makes me chuckle thinking about everyone's different perception. It may be the whole "grass is always greener" thing, or it may just be a big difference in attitude. ;)

There isn't much other news back here. Nessa is counting the days until she can be a stay-at-home mom, I'm counting the days until I graduate nursing school, and the boys are just being the best little boys they can be. Joey's speech therapy progressed very well, and he is almost to a wrap up stage. Matthew, being apraxic, is having slower progress, but he is definitely improving.

My favorite LDS bookstore is moving to some new location that is further away, but the good news is that everything is discounted right now. I plan to head over there today and take a look. Also, the church and a couple church members rented a few apartments in our building, so it's kind of cool because we now have missionaries living here, and a home that is often used for friendshipping. Well, I suppose I should sign off before I write you a whole new blog. Take care, and I hope to hear from you when you have time.
